Vampirism in Skyrim is a disease. But I’m not really sure I agree with such a negative connotation.

Skyrim Light Armor Mods Female
Sure, vampires do behave a little weird. But you get so many cool abilities that I really don’t understand how any mortal would want to cure the Sanguinare Vampiris syndrome.
If you’re like me and have happily turned your Skyrim character into a vampire, then you’ve come to the right place.
Because we’ve already shared a bunch of vampire-themed mods, but how about vampire-themed armor mods?
Now you can look as cool as any vampire could, plus you can also prevent some of the weaknesses that come with that kooky vampiric transformation.
7. Vampire Daywalker Armor
Being a vampire is the coolest thing ever.
What isn’t the coolest thing ever, is having to deal with so many different weaknesses.
Vampire Daywalker Armor is the armor mod to download if you still want to be a vampire, but also want to spend your days walking around the countryside while basking in the glorious sun.
I have no idea what type of vampire would want to do that… but hey, everyone’s got their own tastes, right?
6. Heavy Vampire Armor
There are times when role-playing games really baffle me.
If their premise is that I get to be whoever I want, why do I get punished for some of my choices?
This Heavy Vampire Armor mod attempts to fix this by introducing a heavy variant of the “Vampire Armor” that you’d get when siding with the Vampires of Volkihar.
And it’s a great mod to try out for sure.
Take that, you Light Armor maniacs. Now we’re on the same level!
5. Volkihar Knight – Vampire Armor
Speaking about the Vampires of Volkihar, if you’re looking into becoming a legend for the faction, you really need to download this armor pack
It’s totally on-par with the Skyrim lore so it fits right in.
And it features three different craftable standard variations, as well as Legendary versions with unique effects.
You’ll have to work hard for them, though. Because you can only find them in Volkihar Cathedral after confronting Harkon.
Time to get to work!
4. Blood Witch Armor
If you’ve never made a female character in Skyrim, you don’t really know what you’re missing out on.
But maybe inspiration can strike you with this awesome mod.
Blood Witch Armor is a great-looking high-resolution customized light armor that comes with decent base stats. And it can be further improved with the right materials, so that’s a sweet bonus.
Not that you’d really need to improve it much… any enemy will want to surrender as soon as they catch a glimpse of the dark glimmer that surrounds you.
3. Lustmord Vampire Armor
Vampires are cool, no question about it.
But that doesn’t mean they’ve reached peak coolness in Skyrim. No, we can make them look even cooler with the right armor.
And Lustmord Vampire Armor is one amazing mod that adds tons of new gear, and it all simply looks amazing.
The female variants look the best, in my humble vampiric opinion.
But you’ll find something cool to wear here even if you’re playing a male character.
Just remember to take some screenshots to show off your superior fashion sense to the world.
2. Real Royal Vampire Armor
I don’t know about you, but I’m a complete sucker for capes.
If any armor suit doesn’t have it, I won’t wear it, no matter how much protection it provides. Well, within reason…
But this line of thinking definitely doesn’t help me in Skyrim.
And thankfully a modder came to the rescue with this Real Royal Vampire mod. It includes retextures of the Vampire Armor that you’d get in the Dawnguard expansion.
Both male and female variants come with a great-looking design, and a sleek cape, which I’m thrilled with (and I think you’ll like it too!)
1. TDN Vampire Armor Retexture
Custom armor with intricate designs are tough to come by.
But there are times when something simpler can just work better.
And this Vampire Armor Retexture pack brings an HD retexture of all the vampire armors you’d get in Skyrim’s Dawnguard expansion.
These may not be as flashy as some of the others armor mods in this list.
But when things look great at 4K resolution and above, isn’t that flashy enough?

If you want dungeons, interiors, and Skyrim in general, to look better, you need to install ELFX. Just don't install the weather part of the mod if you plan to use True Storms.

Skyrim has a bunch of armors already available, but Immersive Amors is a mod that takes kitting out your characters (and NPCs) to the next level. Fifty-five new sets are included, alongside 396 shields and various other miscellaneous apparel items. That's a lot of new items to play around with. Different sets and items have specific stats that are integrated into the game through quest rewards, placement in dungeons, and given to certain people.

Immersive Citizens is a mod you should install if you want to wander around a world that feels lived in. NPCs, by default, aren't the most realistic of folk, which is exactly what this mod addresses. The AI has been revamped, better reacting to its surroundings, engaging in more complex schedules, occasional outings, respond to weather, and interactions with nearby objects in the environment.

Much like the Immersive Armors mod, Skyrim has several weapons already available for you to use, but Immersive Weapons adds around 230 more, not to mention new weapon sets to make various new melee builds viable. Interesting NPCs is huge. I'm talking more than 250 fully voiced NPCs (atop all the characters already in-game) with at least 25 of them being recruitable as followers, more than 15 NPCs you can wed, and over 50 new quests. That's a massive amount of content that works well with other restoration and content mods to bring Skyrim to life.

The perk tree could do with some improvements to make each playthrough and build feel more interesting and unique. This is where Ordinator comes in, adding more than 400 perks to the game, completely overhauling each skill tree. With the updated water flow system and more included in Skyrim Special Edition, mods that affect the natural liquid are now more critical when the aim is to create a more realistic-looking environment. Realistic Water Two takes Bethesda's improved system and takes everything to the next level with higher quality effects and textures, not to mention more accurate water body movement depending on the location (sea, river, pond, etc.).

Run for your lives is a package of two handy mods, developed and uploaded by the same author. Run for your lives and When vampires attack affects the way NPCs react to dragon and vampire attacks, namely those who are unable to fight back. Instead of witnessing absolute carnage due to citizens of Skyrim not fleeing to the safe indoors, installing these mods lets you fight off deadly beasts with guards by your side.

Finally, the incredibly talented modders behind the exceptional Skyrim Script Extender has released a version in beta that works wonderfully with Skryim SE. What this tool allows you to do is install mods that require additional functionality that the base game engine cannot offer. I'm talking a better UI experience that wasn't designed for consoles, more feature-packed mods, and more.
Just make sure you download and install the version for SE and not the old Skyrim. Afterward, you need to launch the SKSE64 .exe and not the Skyrim executable through Steam.

This is currently an early testing build of the excellent SkyUI mods, but it's well worth checking out now. What it does is revamps the entire UI, allowing you to more easily navigate your inventory and such, seeing more information at a glance.
